Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2026
This describes what Polido1 collects, why, and how it's handled. It's written to match how the platform actually works today — read it alongside the Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
- Account details: email, name, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text). Mobile number, country, city, address and preferred currency are optional and used to serve you better, not required to use the platform.
- Order details: the services, firmware or rentals you buy, and whatever the order itself requires — for example an IMEI number or a tool's serial number. These are needed to fulfil the order and are kept as part of your order history.
- Wallet & payment records: your wallet balance and transaction history. For manual payments, the reference code and proof screenshot you submit. For on-chain payments, the sending wallet address and transaction hash. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Two-factor authentication: if you turn on 2FA, its secret is stored encrypted, never in plain text.
- Session data: a login cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
2. How it's used
To create and secure your account, process and deliver your orders, refund a failed order to your wallet, send you account and order emails (verification codes, order updates, rental access), and to prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud checks on suspicious activity).
3. Who it's shared with
Order details are shared only with the supplier needed to fulfil that specific order — for example, an IMEI is sent to our unlock-code supplier, a serial number to a tool-activation supplier. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for advertising.
Email delivery (verification codes, order and rental notifications) is handled by a transactional email provider on our behalf, and payment confirmation may involve the payment method you chose (a card processor, or reading public blockchain transaction data for on-chain payments).
4. How long we keep it
Order, invoice and wallet records are kept for accounting purposes even after an account is deleted. If you delete your account, your personal details (name, contact info) are anonymized, but these financial records are retained, consistent with normal accounting practice.
5. Your choices
You can update your profile details, change your password or email, turn on two-factor authentication, sign out of every device, or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion may be blocked while you have an unresolved wallet balance, open orders, or payments awaiting review.
